A B O U T T H E COV E R
This month's cover
image is a beautiful
depiction of St. Joseph
adoring the newborn
baby Jesus, painted
by Catholic artist
Nichole Lanthier, who
lives in Lake Charles,
La. The inspiration for
the piece came to her
in prayer, where she
envisioned Joseph
picking up baby
Jesus to soothe him.
In that moment, the
profound reality of
the entire situation
dawned upon him;
here, in his arms, was
the long-awaited light
of the world, come to
dispel the darkness,
and he gazed at him in
humble adoration.
