STARLAND DISTRICT 37th Street to Victory Drive Day or night, this neighborhood shines with plenty to see and do — and eat. Perhaps no area in the Hostess City has seen more change in recent years than the Starland District. Located largely on Bull Street south of Forsyth Park toward Victory Drive, this bustling neighborhood is a haven for artists and local businesses alike. Just a small sampling of this area includes the outdoor food truck park Starland Yard, fine dining like Elizabeth on 37th, shops like Starlandia Art Supply, bars, cafes and much more. Chic and happening, artsy and inventive, tasty and welcoming — this is the spot where creative locals run the show (plus galleries, boutiques, restaurants and more). ALSO IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD A Taco Affair: New on the scene, the Savannah outpost of chef Jessica Phillips' New Jersey eatery offers mix-and-match tacos, wings, tatchos (that's nachos made with tater tots), churros and more. 401 W. HALL ST. Front Porch Improv: Take your whole crew to one of this group's weekly fast-paced, fantastic mix of improv, sketch, stand-up and storytelling comedy shows. 210 W. VICTORY DRIVE The Vault Kitchen & Market: Located in the former Bank of America building, this chic eatery features a varied menu of Asian fusion and sushi delights while honoring its financial past with unique design choices. 2112 BULL ST. La Scala Ristorante: In a spacious, unexpected setting that includes six dining rooms, a chapel and a wine cellar, La Scala is the spot for fine dining, Italian style. 119 E. 37th St. Water Witch Tiki: Offering a relaxed escape in the middle of Starland's bustling activity, this oasis serves up tiki cocktails anchored by mariner myths and lore. 2220 BULL ST. Picker Joe's Antique Mall & Vintage Market: This sprawling warehouse is a treasure trove of antiques and vintage finds. Set aside plenty of time to peruse. 217 E. 41ST ST. Troupial: Indulge in Venezuelan coffee and pastries amid charming confines — this delectable café was once a Victorian-era residence. 9 W. 43RD ST. Ardsley Station: Low-key comfort is on the menu at this casual dining spot, featuring a shaded outdoor seating area and a robust cocktail list of "Station Libations." 102 E. VICTORY DRIVE The Garage at Victory North: Connected to the Victory North live music and event venue, this kitchen stays open until 1 a.m. Cure late-night cravings with burgers, smoked mushroom grilled cheeses and wagyu beef crunchwrap supremes.
