LORD of Hosts—LORD of the angelic
armies of the Creator Himself! And
who is that? His Name is Jesus! Let's
prove it. Isaiah 53-54 is from the First
Covenant. Philippians 2 is in the
Second Covenant, so let's read verses
6-11, in the AMPC:
The bottom line then for 2024 is: "I
have a Covenant with my God and
Savior, backed by His sinless blood,
shed for me on the Cross." So, in faith
and, by faith, I confess with a loud
voice Isaiah 54:17 (AMPC):
6 WHO, ALTHOUGH BEING
ESSENTIALLY ONE WITH GOD AND IN
THE FORM OF GOD [POSSESSING THE
FULLNESS OF THE ATTRIBUTES
WHICH MAKE GOD GOD], DID NOT
THINK THIS EQUALITY WITH GOD
WAS A THING TO BE EAGERLY
GRASPED OR RETAINED,
7 BUT STRIPPED HIMSELF [OF ALL
PRIVILEGES AND RIGHTFUL DIGNITY],
SO AS TO ASSUME THE GUISE OF A
SERVANT (SLAVE), IN THAT HE
BECAME LIKE MEN AND WAS BORN A
HUMAN BEING.
8 AND AFTER HE HAD APPEARED IN
HUMAN FORM, HE ABASED AND
HUMBLED HIMSELF [STILL FURTHER]
AND CARRIED HIS OBEDIENCE TO
THE EXTREME OF DEATH, EVEN THE
DEATH OF THE CROSS!
9 THEREFORE [BECAUSE HE
STOOPED SO LOW] GOD HAS HIGHLY
EXALTED HIM AND HAS FREELY
BESTOWED ON HIM THE NAME THAT
IS ABOVE EVERY NAME,
10 THAT IN (AT) THE NAME OF JESUS
EVERY KNEE SHOULD (MUST) BOW,
IN HEAVEN AND ON EARTH AND
UNDER THE EARTH,
11 AND EVERY TONGUE [FRANKLY
AND OPENLY] CONFESS AND
ACKNOWLEDGE THAT JESUS CHRIST
IS LORD, TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE
FATHER.
17 BUT NO WEAPON THAT IS FORMED
AGAINST YOU SHALL PROSPER, AND
EVERY TONGUE THAT SHALL RISE
AGAINST YOU IN JUDGMENT YOU
SHALL SHOW TO BE IN THE WRONG.
THIS [PEACE, RIGHTEOUSNESS,
SECURITY, TRIUMPH OVER
OPPOSITION] IS THE HERITAGE OF
THE SERVANTS OF THE LORD [THOSE
IN WHOM THE IDEAL SERVANT OF
THE LORD IS REPRODUCED]; THIS IS
THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OR THE
VINDICATION WHICH THEY OBTAIN
FROM ME [THIS IS THAT WHICH I
IMPART TO THEM AS THEIR
JUSTIFICATION], SAYS THE LORD.
And 2 Corinthians 4:13:
13 WE HAVING THE SAME SPIRIT OF
FAITH, ACCORDING AS IT IS WRITTEN,
I BELIEVED, AND THEREFORE HAVE I
SPOKEN; WE ALSO BELIEVE, AND
THEREFORE SPEAK.
Hang on to, and stand on, 2
Corinthians 4:18:
18 WHILE WE LOOK NOT AT THE
THINGS WHICH ARE SEEN, BUT AT
THE THINGS WHICH ARE NOT SEEN:
FOR THE THINGS WHICH ARE SEEN
ARE TEMPORAL; BUT THE THINGS
WHICH ARE NOT SEEN ARE ETERNAL.
Now look at the same verse in the
AMPC: "Since we consider and look
not to the things that are seen but to
the things that are unseen; for the
things that are visible are temporal
(brief and fleeting), but the things
that are invisible are deathless and
