C O M 25 RAISED RIGHT b y J E S S I P I E R C E "One of us ended up crying nine times out of 10," chuckled Sadie, the middle child who is three years Maddi's junior and two years Jack's senior. "Usually it was Jack making the first trip up the stairs to tell my mom and so we'd get in trouble for making our little brother cry. "But that really started our work ethic and competitiveness. We just enjoyed playing together in those settings so much." Today, the competition has given way to more supportive roles while Sadie completes her collegiate career at Quinnipiac and Jack continues his junior year at St. Cloud State. "It's easy to say, but it's true—all the work ethic we learned comes from our parents and the way we were raised," Jack said. "It's cliché or whatever, but it really does. I couldn't be more grateful for the way I grew up because it really has led me to the places that I am today."
