"TEVA Symposium and the Texas Equine
Foundation have made a significant impact
on my career as a veterinary student,
providing me with invaluable opportunities
to network and be plugged into the
equine veterinary community. I truly
believe that community and relationships
are at the core of a successful equine
practice, and the Symposium fosters an
environment for the future of veterinary
medicine to grow in the students they host.
Personally, I have been able to network
with equine practitioners I have only
dreamed of working with and was given
the opportunity to extern at their clinics
to see them work firsthand. I wouldn't
trade my experiences at the Symposium
for anything, and I greatly appreciate the
efforts that are made by the Foundation in
order to get students involved."
