Answer: PathGuide's LMS is a manifest and shipping solution that supports UPS, FedEx, USPS, LTL, miscellaneous (own truck), Purolator and other carriers. It can integrate directly to Latitude or various ERP systems as well as function as a standalone shipping solution. Integrating LMS into your warehouse process can streamline the shipping process in many ways such as allowing scanning of a l oad number to initiate a shipment which will default the shipping address, ship via and other shipping options automatically. LMS goes through yearly certifications for UPS and FedEx to stay compliant and support new services offered. This Session Will Cover • Shipments flow through Latitude into LMS via the Manifest Station • Reviewing a previously shipped order • Setting up rate modifiers and handling charges • Load consolidation at the Manifest Station • Best way shipping and rate shopping • International shipments Launch The Manifest Station Let's start by going through the process of pulling up an order in the LMS Manifest Station. 1) Launch the Manifest Station by double-clicking the LMS Manifest Console icon. 2) Log into the Manifest Station using "USER05" as the UserID. Change the branch to "SESSION05" and then click OK (for training purposes, there is no password). Rate and Record a Sales Order on the Station 1) Pull up order 4397059 by typing "#00509" in the "Shipment ID" text box. This is a load number associated with the order. This will pull up the "Latitude Integrated Shipping" screen, which will list what loads are associated with the order. Since we entered load #00509, it flagged it as being included in the shipment already. If there were other loads, they can be consolidated, which we will discuss later in this session. 2) This is the only load associated with this order, so click the "OK" button in the lower right. You will see a pop-up that says processing shipment. This step ships the load from Latitude WMS. It will populate the Manifest Station screen with all the details from the order.
