Take note that on Box 1, the Freight Charges are only $6.31.
This is because we combined the load from order
"4397051" as part of that package.
The system will record the tracking number against both
sales orders and split the freight charges between them.
Let's go ahead and pull up order "4397051" on the "Review
Sales Orders" page.
11) Click the "Tracking" tab.
For this order, there is the same tracking number recorded
for the previous order and you can see the other half of the
freight charges were recorded against this order.
Creating Rate Modifiers
LMS allows you to create discounts with several criteria to
decrease (or increase) the freight charges and apply
handling charges.
These discounts are created on the LMS Web. Go ahead
and launch the LMS Web by double-clicking the following
icon on the desktop.
1) Login with UserID "USER05" and a blank password to the
"PGT" account profile.
2) Browse to "Administration Charts Discount and
Handling Charge Chart".
3) Let's go ahead and create an entry that will do the following:
• Decrease the rate by 50%
• Apply a $3.50 handling charge
• Only apply to UPS Next Day air shipments
4) Click the "Add" button and fill out the following criteria.
5) Click "Save".
