AEC Program

2024 AEC PROGRAM 6 WELCOME FROM THE USEA Welcome to the 2024 USEA American Eventing Championships (AEC) Presented by Nutrena Feeds! Welcome back to the AEC, and welcome back to Kentucky! Each year, it's an honor to watch you all compete. The AEC has truly become the national championship for horse trials, and you've all worked incredibly hard to get here. We recognize the immense amount of time, money, and dedication it takes to reach this championship, and from the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for joining us here in The Bluegrass State. As you move around the grounds, please extend your thanks to each and every volunteer you see. These volunteers are the cornerstone of our eventing communities, which you are a part of, and they make it possible to host this incredible event in the legendary Kentucky field of championship dreams. It takes hundreds of volunteers to make this event possible, and we couldn't do it without them. We hope you will consider volunteering in your downtime and encourage members of your support team to do the same. As always, we are incredibly excited to feature the $60,000 Adequan USEA Advanced Final! The athletes competing at this level are some of the best in the world. They have raised the bar for our country, and several have been members of international teams over the years. With the Olympics on the horizon in L.A., and inspiring events in Versailles, we hope you will join us in watching these top athletes compete for this enormous prize, awarded by our fantastic sponsors, Adequan. We are also joined once again by another long-time partner, our presenting sponsor Nutrena. They nourish our horses with the best feed in the world, and we hope you will support them. A full list of our sponsors is available in this program. Please help us thank and support them, as every single dollar we receive from them goes toward prize money at this AEC. Every vendor in the trade fair is also a sponsor of this event, so consider saying thank you in person. Finally, we genuinely appreciate your hard work to qualify at over 230 recognized events in the United States. These USEA events provided you with the experience that led you here, often with very little in return for doing so. Thank you so much for helping us keep our horses safe and healthy. At the USEA, our tagline is "Love the Horse First, Become a Member Second," and we genuinely mean it! Lou Leslie, USEA President Rob Burk, USEA CEO
