WELCOME FROM THE KENTUCKY HORSE PARK

Hosting the 2024 United States Eventing Association American Eventing Championships
presented by Nutrena Feeds is something the Kentucky Horse Park (KHP) looks forward to all
year. We know your participation and qualification is the culmination of hard work and
dedication by countless people.
Central to the KHP mission is celebrating the relationship humans have with the horse.
This connection runs deep in our history—horses have graced this property since the 1820s.
Over the decades, this picturesque slice of Bluegrass has been home to Thoroughbreds,
Saddlebreds, Standardbreds, and numerous other breeds, each leaving their hoofprints on our
story.
And we know the relationship between you and your horse runs deep too. It is that
special bond we will celebrate during the AEC. From the time you pull on property, canter
down centerline, gallop the hills of cross-country (going double clear!), and have a perfect show
jumping round, the staff at the KHP will be cheering you on!
Of course, we know your focus will be on competition this week. We hope you can
explore other areas of the KHP as your schedule permits. From the Hall of Champions, Draft
Horses at the Big Barn, and the International Museum of the Horse, there is always something
to enjoy.
The entire KHP family is glad you're here. We hope you enjoy your time here and come
