Start Clicking, The Clock's Ticking 2014 East Idaho Community Photo Contest still open for entries Fall colors are at their peak, so what better time to set your sights on the photo of a lifetime? The East Idaho Community Photo Contest deadline is fast approaching. Are you up for the challenge? Don't dwell on it for too long; the submission deadline for the magazine's 5th annual contest is set for Oct. 15, 2013. Presented by Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center & Perfect Light Camera & Supply, the contest will have the five main categories from previous years including: • Portraits (staged photos and/or candids that feature a person or people in East Idaho) • Nature & Wildlife (Shots that depict the great outdoors in eastern Idaho) • Sports & Leisure (Any type of action shot or activity--even a rather passive one like hanging out at Tautphaus Zoo, Ross Park, Mack's Inn, etc.) • Events (Anything that captures or celebrates area events like the area's Fourth of July parades, Harvest Fest, Rush Triathalon, Old Town Pavilion concerts, etc) • Open (Any image that doesn't fit in another category) If you have any questions about the contest or suggestions for the other categories, give us a call at 542-2254. 2014 East Idaho Community Photo Contest Send entries to: photocontest@ idahofallsmagazine.com • Open to amateur photographers throughout East Idaho. • $2,000+ Cash awards and plaques for top entries in up to 10 divisions. • Special merchandise awards up to $1,200 for grand prize • $1,000+ added values in gift certificates.
