City Council Members A Message From Jared Fuhriman Mayor, City of Idaho Falls The 2013 fall and winter months will be full of fun activities for all ages in the City of Idaho Falls. I encourage the community to explore the magic and all the opportunities our wonderful city provides. As in years past, the City plans on offering some of the greatest fall and winter activities available in eastern Idaho. Some of these activities include indoor basketball, ice skating at our Joe Marmo/Wayne Lehto Ice Arena, cross-country skiing and indoor swimming. This year promises to be a wonderful opportunity to explore our amazing parks on cross-country skis, snowshoes or sleds. Seasonal Fall and Winter events include Trick-or-Treat Street, Christmas on the River, or the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony in Historic Downtown, the Festival of Trees and the Olde Fashioned Christmas & Winter Festival at the Museum of Idaho. Whether you're ice skating, cross-country skiing or catching a show at the Colonial Arts Theater, it has never been a better time to start enjoying your city's many wonderful family-friendly activities. So get out, get active and go enjoy this great city we call home!
