Sublimation showcase Dye-sub printer series Sublimation ink Dye-sub embroidery Coastal Business Supplies carries the new Epson SureColor F-Series dye-sub printers, as well as ink and media. The printers have been redesigned with all components working together specific to dye-sublimation imaging and printing. The Epson MicroPiezo TFP print head has been optimized to be used exclusively with Epson's new dye-sub ink. The series is capable of industrial level production and quality. The ink, UltraChrome DS, is a CMYK color set with an extreme color gamut and will be offered in eco-friendly simple ink packs as opposed to cartridges. Epson is also developing original dye-sub media of two main paper types, standard multi-purpose and low-tack adhesive, for fabric and apparel production. Sawgrass Technologies announces the SubliJet-R ink for the new Ricoh SG 7100DN printer. This sublimation ink is available in standard-capacity and extended-capacity cartridges. Designed for moderate and seasonal printing applications, the standard-capacity cartridges provide a low startup cost while the extend-capacity cartridges provide extended uninterrupted printing, eliminating the need for a separate bulk ink system, according to the company. Peiyork International Co. Inc. offers dye sublimated embroidery, which is the process of combining traditional embroidery with dye sublimation. The company mixes embroidery with the photo-quality printing of dye sublimation for a one-of-a-kind look. It's an ideal alternative for designs with many colors, tiny lettering and extreme details, according to the company. 800-869-0980 866-290-3812 800-562-7760 40 | Printwear PW_OCT13.indd 40 October 2013 9/16/13 10:55 AM
