commodation or any extra materials, such
as textiles. As for the application process,
most of the schools are similar in terms of
their entry requirements.
Your portfolio, for instance, is one of the
most important elements; some entrance
requirements may also include an essay
and an interview, and even though top
academic grades do not carry much importance, average grades are normally
still required. Some undergraduate courses also require you to have completed a
foundation year, which would therefore
mean studying for a total of maybe five to
six years! If in need, also try to find some
internships and work experience, which

to help you with - simply register online
and search for a suitable opportunities.
In terms of the top institutions, I would
recommend considering the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Central Saint Martins
College of Art, Kingston University and
the London College of Fashion, which are
all located in and around London. If you
are looking for something abroad, look at
the Parsons,
The New School for Design which is in
New York, L'École de La Chambre Syndicale in Paris, and the Instituto Marangoni
located in Milan, London, Shanghai and
Paris. The British Higher School of Art and
Design in Moscow also works closely with
some of the UK specialists.
There are so many options and avenues,
so after giving it considerable thought, I
would certainly recommend going online
and doing the research if you want to pursue your dream career in fashion.
