Meet the Experts CONTRIBUTORS DAVE MOQUIST Dave Moquist is a fourth-generation grower who farms in Crystal, N.D., with his son, Andrew, and family members. Dave is primarily involved with the potato side of the operation and oversees storage, packing, shipping and sales. An active leader in the industry, Dave has served on the United States Potato Board and on the board of directors of the Red River Valley Potato Growers Association and the North Dakota Potato Council. He holds a degree in agricultural engineering from North Dakota State University. FRANK MUIR Frank Muir is the president and CEO of the Idaho Potato Commission. Headquartered in Eagle, Idaho, the Commission is a state organi- zation for the promotion of Idaho Potatoes, a focus the group has had a hand in for over 70 years. JOHN TOASPERN John Toaspern has worked as the vice president for international marketing at the United States Potato Board since January 1999.
