IRRIGATION PRODUCTS Underhill International 866-863-3744 • www.underhill.us Novo Two-Wire Converter Novo, a compact two-wire converter from Underhill International, is designed to quickly transform any standard multiwire controller to two-wire operation by using a "plug and play" feature. Controllers such as Hunter, Rain Bird, Toro, and other popular brands, can be converted to total two-wire or hybrid two-wire/multi-wire systems with Novo. Novo is a practical solution for irrigation installers who want to use their favorite controller when planning a new two- wire installation or a hybrid system expansion. Novo installs alongside the host controller and handles up to 32 two-wire stations. The host multi-wire controller continues to run all scheduling programs and "talks" to the new two-wire valves and decoders via the Novo converter. Measuring just 6.3 inches high by 7.33 inches wide and 1.78 inches deep, Novo features a backlit graphical display with easy step-by-step LightTouch buttons and built-in electrical diagnostics/fault finding. Novo plastic wall mount cabinets and external transformers are also available. Netafim USA www.netafimusa.com Multi-Function Hydrometers Netafim USA introduces multi-function hydrometers—water-saving devices that monitor irrigation flow rates and usage on large turf. The hydrometers provide visible, realtime data to help evaluate water consumption on a daily basis. The versatile device features four functions: built-in master valve, water meter, flow sensor and pressure regulating valve. Hydrometers can be utilized in either dripline or overhead irrigation systems and are compatible with controllers from most major manufacturers. Netafim hydrometers also feature an exclusive straightening vane that straightens water flow and results in uniform movement, which can be read more accurately by the flow sensor. The vane also allows a direct connection anywhere in the system, even at a 90-degree elbow in a small space. It eliminates the need for extra space before and after the hydrometer, often necessary with other flow sensors. WT Winter 2013 29
