FASHION 15 7 guestlist.net Issue 56 / 2013 AUTUMN TRENDS TARTAN-TASTIC Tartan and the cold season has always been a great match and this year tartan is very much In trend. Spotted on the runway for Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Louis Vuitton and Tory Burch (to name a few) we know this is a fashion style to try out this season. The best thing about it? It can be rocked with a prim and proper look or a laid back, grungy look. Tartan is one style that can fit into any fashion statement- there's something for everyone. BEANIE HAT HEAVEN We were very excited to see beanie hats take a fashion turn on the catwalk for the Rebecca Minkoff, DKNY and Tracy Reese Fall lines. They're a way to keep warm in style this season and perfect for those depressing days your hair refuses to behave. Add cuteness to a casual outfit, or contrast with a dressy outfit for a more edgy look, either way your beanie can make your outfit. Get one now! THE LOW HEEL.....FINALLY! Put your high heels away girls! You can finally breathe a sigh of relief as the low heels and kitten heels are trending this season. Give your feet a much needed rest with one of the most comfortable trends this autumn. STATEMENT COATS On the runway this season some coats were baggy, some draped, some structured but without a doubt all of them were big! The coat of choice this autumn season is over-sized; Michael Kors and Stella McCartney amongst others rocked this trend in their fall lines on the runway. We love this trend- as the weathers plummeting, what's better than bundling up in an oversized coat and looking chic while doing it?
