Select UK began its journey into music and has now become a proud choice of many people far and wide. The team are extremely passionate about what they do and strive to improve the station's programming daily. House (in all it's styles) and Electronic Dance Music is what they do best. They currently showcase over 50 live DJs & performers, bringing listeners live musical talent 24 hours a day, via the internet and their popular mobile iPhone/Android Apps. Select UK Pride themselves on the fact that all of their DJs mix live on air and also engage with listeners during their shows through the popular shout out and request feature. This fosters a real sense of community, connecting across London's amazing, diverse population of house music fans. LABEL OF THE MONTH VP RECORDS (NOAM) Events Madame JoJos keeps itself interesting with a variety of regular nights taking place on different days. White Heat on Tuesdays is the straight-up indie night, while Tranny Shack on Wednesdays encourages you to get in touch with your feminine side and dress to impress. Sound far-fetched? This is Soho! Where else do you get to party in style? Drinks This has got to be a strong-point for Madame JoJos. Drink prices can vary on different nights but at White Heat drinks can cost as low as £2.50 for a vodka and soda! Shots of sambucca and tequila are £1. Cocktails are not available but there are plenty of bottled beers to choose from. Now you've got no excuse to go and get tanked! Vibes Madame JoJos has got to be one of the most fun, frivolous and downright selfconfident clubs in London, not just in Soho. If you're brave enough to give it a go, why not get dressed up in something fun and silly, let your hair down and throw some shapes! Madame JoJos is all about having fun and being yourself. RISE 1 Leicester Square, Leicester Square, London,WC2H 7NA Events Styling itself as a superclub, Rise has much to live up to. However, the venue hosts a dance floor with more than enough space to move, great seating and a DJ booth at eye-level so you can watch those celebrity sets up close and personal. If you want light shows, party music and a cool vibe, then look no further. Drinks This is not a strong point for Rise. Cocktails can cost between £10 - £11 and a rose shot (comprised of vodka chambord shaken with blackberry puree and charged with Champagne) will cost you £7. That's nothing, though - a house bottle of Champagne Mercier will cost you £70 and the Methuselah of Möet et Chandon will be a whopping £1200! Vibes The venue itself is massive and there are always interesting nights being hosted here, and there are bound to be some famous guest DJs stepping in to perform sets.
