Alpine, Wyoming 4, and the CDST came in at No. 5. The CDST tumbled two spots to its place in this year's survey. The next five are Wyoming's Snowy Range; McCall, ID; the Big Horns; also in Wyoming; Cache Valley, UT; and at No. 10, Rabbit Ears. With Alpine, the CDST, Snowy Range and Big Horns all in the top 10 on this year's survey, Wyoming dominates the first 10 spots with four riding areas. Idaho has four riding areas—Island Park, McCall, No. 12 Stanley and No. 15 Priest Lake—in the Top 15 for the first time in a number of years. The other areas in the Top 15—nos. 11-15—are No. 11 Grand Lake, CO; Stanley; No. 13 Black Hills, SD; No. 14 Strawberry, UT; and Priest Lake. Our readers are always good for a surprise or two, as we already mentioned. Another surprise was Priest Lake returning to the Top 15 for the first time in many years. We find that a bit ironic because we just rode Priest Lake last winter (no, we didn't exert any influence on our readers to pick this area) and wondered why Priest Lake ever fell off the list. It's a great riding area. Montana (with the No. 1 and No. 3 spots), Utah and Colorado each have two areas in this year's Top 15 list, the same number as last year.
