Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller.
In only two quarters of action,
Miller completed 19 passes
for 233 yards and four touchdowns. He didn't even need
to run — he had only one for
seven yards — but
used his legs
effectively
to evade
tacklers
and extend plays that produced
yardage.
Ohio State running
back Carlos Hyde. Hyde
nearly got caught for his only
negative rush of the season
on his first carry
but was able
to
churn
through
for a nogain run.

That was about the only carry
that didn't go right. On his
eight in the game, Hyde rushed
for 111 yards, including a 42yard run.
Ohio State tight end
Jeff Heuerman. Entering the game, Heuerman had
139 yards receiving in the first
eight games. He had 116
against Purdue in the first
half. The last time an Ohio
3
State tight end had 100 yards
receiving in a game was 1996.
Ohio State quarterback Kenny Guiton.
The Buckeyes' backup is probably one of the conference's better QBs. In the second half, he
rushed for 98 yards and two TDs
and threw for another score.

Purdue punter Cody
Webster. After a dismal first punt (15 yards), Webster boomed the ball. His other
seven punts traveled 381 yards,
a 54.4-yard average. His long
was a 73-yarder, and three were
downed inside the 20.
Tom Campbell
Braxton Miller made it look easy against the
Boilermakers, completing all but four of his
23 passes and throwing for 233 yards and four
touchdowns in one half.
