WHY GUS? INNOVATIVE ACADEMICS Our faculty are committed to excellence in teaching. In 2012, Glen Urquhart faculty traveled to the International School of Amsterdam to attend the consortium on Harvard Project Zero's "Visible Thinking" curriculum. This summer, faculty participated in Harvard Project Zero's week-long Summer Institute in Cambridge. In the classroom, faculty and students are integrating Project Zero's innovative learning strategies. Come to one of our Open Houses to share in this exciting experience! At Glen Urquhart, an independent K-8 day school in Beverly, innovative teaching and a strong core curriculum provide students with the academic readiness to meet the demands of the most rigorous high schools and colleges, and the global perspective to succeed in the world beyond.
