Admin associations
There are a number of professional associations for
administrative assistants in Canada. They offer networking opportunities, courses and speakers. You
should take a look at them all to see which one is
the right fit for you.
Here are two major admin associations in
Canada:
Association of Administrative Assistants (AAA)

International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP), Canada division

Change the world
Continued from page 4
heard about Anna's room, more lactation spaces
were created.
Japan Airlines announced last September that
on certain flights, it will be setting aside four seats
for women who wish to nurse their babies. They
are also making toys available for the restless toddler who's kicking your chair back. Perhaps these
changes are the result of an admin's influence.
Remember, sometimes influence can be just as
powerful a tool as making the decision itself.
