What are your observations and thoughts? 30 www.iltanet.org Peer to Peer TutorPro Ltd Just a few years ago, “training” meant a structured course where it was a good bet that the skills you learned would be sufficient for a few years because the work environment was relatively static. This is no longer the case; the environment in which we work is undergoing a seismic change that will inevitably impact the whole concept of just what constitutes training. Vast quantities of information are now easily available via the Web, and this information changes with a rapidity that can be frightening. Read something today and it can easily be out of date tomorrow; knowledge itself has become a moving target. “Pulling” training from the Web is part of our world now. ILTA
