Refreshments available for purchase. • St. James Episcopal Church, 24 Hamlet Ave., ROBERT THEROUX Robert Theroux, 88 of Yuba City, California passed away on November 16, 2013 at the Yuba City Skills Nursing Center. He was the husband of the late Carrie (Richardson) Theroux. Born in Woonsocket, RI. He was the son of the late Felix and Amelia (Lebrun) Theroux. Robert was a United States Navy veteran serving in World War II. He was an avid card player and loved to travel during his retirement. He is survived by three step-daughters, Kristie Lee Shoup, Suzanne Lee Lord, and Michelle Shoup of California, a sister Claire (Theroux) Vitiello of Woonsocket, a niece Lorraine (Vitiello) Labrecque and her husband Richard of Maine, a nephew Richard Vitiello and his wife Jo-Anne of Nasonville, a grand niece Melissa (Labrecque) Encarnation and her husband Steven of Woonsocket, a grand nephew Rick Vitiello of Warwick, a grand niece Chantelle Vitiello of Nasonville and two great grand nieces Katherine and Stephanie Encarnation of Woonsocket . Therese A. (Lague) Auger, 78, died Nov. 19, 2013, in St. Antoine Residence, North Smithfield. She was the wife of Philias A. Auger Jr. Born in Woonsocket, she was the auger daughter of the late George and Mabel (Anger) Lague. She worked in the family business, Auger's Menswear of Woonsocket, for many years until its closing in 1989. Prior to her retirement in the late 1990s, Therese worked for seven years with Citizens Bank in Providence, overseeing the safety deposit box area. She was an active member of several local organizations in Woonsocket, including the KBG Club and the Interfaith Choir. She was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Woonsocket, and was active for many years with their food pantry. Besides her husband, she is survived by their five children, Pierre Auger and his wife Jill of Lexington, Mass., Jean Auger and his wife Janice of Albion, Marie Gentile and her husband Ezio of North Providence, Philip Auger and his wife Kristen of North Kingstown, and Eric Auger and his wife Gina of Needham, Mass.; and 10 grandchildren and one great-grandson. She was sister to the late Alfred G. Lague. Her funeral was held Saturday, Nov. 23, from the Holt Funeral Home, Woonsocket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Woonsocket. Burial followed in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Bellingham, Mass. Calling hours were Friday.
