They will all hold a special place with me because they are the foundation of what we are building here. We knew that every game on our schedule was going to be a battle. What I take away from this season is that I have a team that does not quit. In the fourth quarter of every game, this team played as hard as the first quarter. The season is over and the coaches and I have been out on the recruiting trail. We need to continue to find great young players that fit into our system and our family. Recruiting is the lifeblood of a program, and I have some of the best coaches in the country for that. They are the leaders of the team and it is important to get them on board. We took time to reflect on the season and honor the players for their performances at our annual banquet. No matter what the outcome of a season, I feel it is very important to celebrate a season. Our focus this offseason will be on details and toughness. The only thing we can control is how hard we work and the detail we do it with. I appreciate everyone's support in my first year at NC State.
