Gudjonsson also was able to decorate the three-tiered
cake to echo the wedding décor, by covering it in black sugar
fondant and embellishing it with dark royal blue roses with
black petals. German and Zarak's cake décor also incorporated a twisting vine designed after one of Margera's tattoos.
"This is probably the most unusual wedding cake I have
ever made [in] my 20 years in the business," Gudjonsson says.
Finally, instead of traditional cake toppers, German and
Zarak designed black candy slabs painted with the symbols
representing the bride and groom.
"For two rock and rollers like Nikki and Bam, you
couldn't have had the bride and groom on top," German
says. A backwards number four, based on one of his tattoos
and painted in silver, represented Margera, and two back-toback Ps represented Nikki Boyd.
"That was unique and a great idea by Visnja and Donna
for a rock concert wedding," Chris G. says.
After two whirlwind trips to Iceland—one to secure
the ingredients and staff, the other to actually throw the
event—German and Zarak returned to the United States
with everything intact, with the minor exception of a broken
appetizer plate.
"I was so proud…to have such an opportunity and to hit
the homer that we did," German says. "Extraordinary preparation leads to an extraordinary result, and I think that's
what we do the [best]."
Margera agrees.
"I had a vision for my 'Iceland Adventure' and [Visnja and
Donna] turned my vision into a reality," he says. "From the
tattoo cake to the killer food, everything was rockin' [that]
