Mike Denbrock, who stepped in as
an interim coordinator during bowl
preparation, would be the most likely
candidate to slide into Martin's empty
seat. Denbrock is in his second stint as
a Notre Dame assistant and also served
as an offensive and defensive coordinator at different times for Kelly while
working together at Grand Valley State
in the early 1990s.
