As globalization continues to permeate our world, relocation is on the rise. Where moving across town might have once seemed drastic for a job change, we now see colleagues moving across the world. Any relocation comes with the potential for drastic life changes; an international relocation exponentially multiplies those changes — often bordering (pun intended) on upheaval of just about every aspect of your life. Five of our esteemed colleagues who've made the crossborder leap shared their experiences and gave us tips to minimize the chaos and maximize the opportunity. After reading their comments, those of you who have been toying with the thought of moving to another country might just decide it's time to dip your toe in a different ocean. Editorial Note: In some instances where we would typically align terms and phrases for editorial consistency, we've consciously left in the cultural nuances of each of our colleagues.
