He is what we call a proper rootsman. Starting his
career in the 1970s, the golden age of reggae music,
he worked with the great producers of his time:
Joe Gibbs, Lee Perry, Linval Thompson, Augustus
Pablo and many others. He recently played at
the Hootananny, Brixton, and has a gig with the
mighty Mad Professor in France on December 8th.
His musical flexibility and versatility, as well as an
agreeable deep voice, have enabled him to follow
the winds of change within the genre and keep
on producing some great tunes throughout the
