EVENT PREVIEW
NYE BALL FT. WOLF ALICE &
SUPERFOOD
Nottingham singer/song writer, Ady Suleiman, has had a boom of popularity
over the past year, playing at festivals like Leeds and Glastonbury, but also having national air play on BBC 1extra.
A strong soulful voice like Ady's hypnotizes you into a relaxed, tranquil state, no matter what kind of mood you're in. If you haven't seen
him live already yet, go check out what gigs he's doing, because his unique, distinctive voice will get you hooked. His facebook claims
his influences are Amy Winehouse, Jimmy Hendrix, Lauryn Hill, B.B King, Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, Jamile Woon, James Blake, Frank
Ocean and Michael Kinwanuka. However he does sound like a cooler, more chilled out version of Paolo Nutini. Definitely one to look out
for.

31st December @KOKO
Koko are bringing in the New
Year in style with these two
bands, both pretty fresh on the
scene in 2013. The XX meets
Pixies in Wolf Alice, while Superfood's surf rock influences
are sure to make your start to
2014 a great one. Both bands'
title tracks were released earlier this year and are definitely
worth a listen.
