Catholic schools in the Denver Archdiocese will offer entertainment-filled nights this spring in benefit of their mission to provide a solid parochial education. Below are some fundraisers local schools are hosting that provide scholarship assistance, assist with improvement projects and advance quality education. Arrupe Jesuit High School Support the education of economically disadvantaged students this year at Arrupe's fundraiser called "A Noteworthy Magis Night" in Denver. On Feb. 22, the school will feature keynote speaker, Joe Theismann, former quarterback for the Washington Redskins. The evening will begin 5 p.m. with a cocktail hour and auction followed by dinner and a live auction in the Plaza Ballroom inside the Sheraton Downtown Denver Hotel, 1550 Court Place. Holy Family High School Support this school's excellence in education at its annual Tiger Gala called "Start Spreading the News" in Westminster. Nativity of Our Lord School Join this school for a "Knight with Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory," which includes auctions, dining, dancing and live music by The Hazel Miller Band Feb. 22. Our Lady of Lourdes School Join this school for a casino night during its annual fundraiser March 1 themed "Denim and Diamonds." The night begins with Mass at 4:30 p.m. in the church.
