Developed for extreme high-heat applications, the sleeves protect wires, lines and cables when exposed to up to 1,800 degrees direct heat and 2,500 degrees radiant heat. Hemi Pistons ICON Pistons, Carson City, Nev., a United Engine & Machine brand, presents nine Forged 2618 Alloy Piston applications for Chrysler 5.7-liter Hemis in 3.790-, 3.900- and 4.050-inch stroke combinations. All models feature heavyduty 0.200-inch wall wrist pins with spiral lock rings, second land accumulator groove, coated skirts and highly polished tops. Ring packs are 1.5mm, 1.5mm and 3mm with a top land of 0.240 inches thick and come in dish or dome to accommodate blown, nitrous and high-compression applications.
