Our recently introduced Door Hemming Tool, available as either an electric drill attachment or air-powered model, has been very well-received as a labor-saving option that produces a like-new hem, leaving no evidence of a repair. A minimum 14.4-volt cordless is all that is required to adequately power the Door Hemming attachment and efficiently hem the edges of replacement door skins for passenger vehicles and light trucks with limited manual "tacking" requirements. The hemming attachment quickly insets into a common 3/8-inch chuck, so there is no need to modify the drill. A telescoping clamp component adjusts to fit length and width of any drill housing so that the hemming attachment is easily operated with one hand as it navigates along the hem edge and over mild profiles. The hemming attachment's highimpact, ABS polymer anvil will not scratch or mar the replacement door skin. The anvil's fence fits flush against the outer edge and finished side of the door skin as a narrow seaming wheel rolls a tight, clean inside hemmed door edge.
