Roman: We are very excited about introducing our stainless steel and Inconel exhaust header polish. It is a unique offering and will be especially useful to hot rodders and restoration shops to help keep their exhaust headers and other stainless steel components looking like new. Heitmann: We are continually expanding our line of flanges. We will also be developing more kit options and upgrades for our customers to help them source all the required parts needed for their header and exhaust system fabrication. Our exciting new product release for early 2014 is our brand-new clamping header cap. This device is completely unique to the exhaust industry, and was rated one of the top 10 new hot rod products at SEMA by Hot Rod Magazine and Blacktop Magazine. At this time, we have a threearm model available for purchase, and we plan to have the four-arm style ready for shipping by mid-2014. Two distinctive attributes of the cap are that it requires no tools to operate and has no loose hardware to lose. The cap is fully adjustable and is designed to use with a 5-inch (OD) ring on Lakester-style headers or exhaust dumps. We are developing a series of rings that will allow for the caps to be used on exhaust tube ranging from 2.5 to 4 inches in diameter. Lewis: Hedman introduced a few dozen new part numbers at this year's SEMA Show. Within this group, the expansion of our Chevy C10/C20 mid-length header line to include big-block Chevy-powered trucks created the biggest stir. These midlength headers allow owners to replace the ugly, poor-performing stock manifolds, without losing ground clearance—a common problem for C10 and C20 owners who modify their suspension.
