basketball recruiting was the level of maturity he showed and how he was patient enough to make the right plays in critical situations," Bossi continued. "Not a lot of high schoolers have that, and it should help ease the transition to college ball. He isn't a mega athlete, but his smarts, skill and a body to work with in the weight room should allow him to be an impact player in Ann Arbor." Wilson, meanwhile, isn't as highly ranked, but he could play like a top-50 to top-75 prospect by the time he matures in Ann Arbor, Bossi reported. "Wilson is finally completely healthy and is showing a level of athleticism to which he has never come close in the past," he wrote. "He sprinted the floor for dunks and was blocking shots and grabbing rebounds above the rim. "Unfortunately from an evaluation standpoint, he and his Capital Christian teammates blew out their opponents, so it was tough to judge just how much more athletic he really is. Wilson already has a very good jump shot and versatility on the offensive end. If he can be as athletic and active as he looked against better competition, he is a threat to make a move in the rankings." Class Of 2015 Notebook Michigan head coach John Beilein has been busy outside of just preparing for Big Ten opponents. Beilein watched Saginaw (Mich.) Arthur Hill's Eric Davis, a Rivals.com four-star junior, Jan. 10 before seeing Rice Lake (Wis.) High's four-star big man Henry Ellenson a day later. Davis, a 6-3 shooting guard who Rivals.com ranks No. 30 nationally, was in town for Michigan's game with Arizona a few weeks back and seems to be picking up the interest, though many still believe he's headed out of state. He scored 24 points on 10-of-15 shooting, while adding six assists and five rebounds with Beilein watching. Michigan State, Oregon, OSU, Kansas and others have offered, while U-M could be close. The 6-9 Ellenson notched 19 points and 13 rebounds in front of Beilein, U-M assistant Jalen Brunson LaVall Jordan and Purdue head coach Matt Painter. Michigan State, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Minnesota and others are involved. BlueDevilDigest.com, meanwhile, interviewed 2015 shooting guard Luke Kennard (6-5, Rivals.com's No. 16 junior) of Franklin, Ohio, recently. Kennard gave a list of Ohio State, Duke, Kentucky, UNC, Louisville, Michigan and Florida, and said he could decide by the end of his junior year. The Rivals.com five-star prospect is averaging 40 points per game and recently put up 46 and 53 points in separate games. He plans to narrow his list to three or four and take visits in the spring, and Michigan is likely to get one. Kentucky is still thought to be his leader. Lincolnshire (Ill.) Stevenson's Jalen Brunson (6-0, 175, No. 28) also continues to impress. Brunson didn't score until the second quarter but notched
