EVENT PREVIEW
CHILDISH GAMBINO
Issue 59 / 2014
ARTIST OF THE MONTH
DEMENETED SOUND MAFIA
Multi-talented rapper Childish Gambino
touches down next month for a UK tour
of his far from childish debut album
'because The Internet'.
Childish Gambino seemed to
have disappeared from the
world after taking sanction in
Miami Heat star Chris Bosh's
LA pad over most part of
early 2013, recording material
for his second debut album.
Opting to distance himself
from social media distractions,
he
publicaly
announced
his strict ban on using
Twitter whilst focusing his
attention to his next release.
London's
Shepherd
Bush
Empire welcomes the hip hop
recording artist for his first
night in the UK on February 4th.

by J.U.S.T.I.C.E League, features the bouncy southern style
characteristic of the rapper and with the assistance of co-executive
producer DJ Khaled's rolodex of industry contacts ranging from
artists to producers, the album is sure to be as he himself put it
"a masterpiece", drawing from diverse musical inspirations and
sounds. Fans have been teased with news about a track of colossal
proportions featuring hiphop juggernaut Jay-Z and another
featuring soul legend Bobby Womack. Be on the lookout for an
album that will command the ears of listeners and decks of DJs all
over the world; in a way only a boss can.
