Lead with it
As I bounced through the Serengeti with a German businessman on my lap, I was reminded that our core values aren’t just words—we live them every day. Leading tours in lesser developed regions results in all sorts of ‘authentic’ experiences with the inevitable bumps in the road that occur. When an overland truck became stuck in a riverbed, I was amazed by the reaction of my group. Quickly coming together to help, we invited them on board our 4x4 and set off with no room to spare—but with the satisfaction that we had helped those in need.
