R ising sophomore tight end Jake Butt has suffered a torn ACL during winter condition- ing and will be out indefinitely, Michigan announced Feb. 13. "Jake's done a tremendous job since he's been here," head coach Brady Hoke said. "He's worked extremely hard and gained a lot of weight to become the com- plete tight end he wants to be.
