He scored seven points, set career highs in assists (seven) and steals (four), and grabbed three rebounds to tie a career high. • Fifth-year senior Jordan Morgan matched his season high in points with 12 against Iowa. • The Wolverines' 80-75 win at No. 3 Michigan State Jan. 25 gave them three straight victories over Associ- ated Press top-10 squads for the first time in school history. Michigan be- came the first program to pull off that sort of triple play since the 1986-87 Iowa crew did so. • The victory over the No. 3 Spartans matched the win over No. 3 Wisconsin a week earlier as a road victory over the highest-rated opponent ever for the Wolverines. • Michigan's win pushed its all-time series lead over the Spartans to 96- 76, boosting the Wolverines' all-time mark to 37-48 in East Lansing, and 8-16 at the Breslin Center. U-M's last victory over a top-five MSU squad oc- curred in 1979. • Neither team had won a game on the road in the series since Michigan's 61-57 victory at the Breslin Center on Jan. 27, 2011. • The Wolverines scored 50 points in the second half against the Spartans, a season-high for the final 20 min- utes this year. Michigan also made a season-high 25 of 30 (83.3 percent) at the free throw line, including 14 of 16 in the final moments to close out the win. • Walton established a career high with 19 points, connecting on 4 of 7 shots and 10 of 11 free throws, grab- bing five rebounds and making four assists. He went 8 of 9 from the line in the final 2:30. • Michigan's 75-66 win over Purdue Jan. 30 boosted the Wolverines' all- time record against the Boilermakers to 65-84 overall and 40-33 in Ann Ar- bor. U-M has won three in a row in the series, and six of the last eight. • The victory also pushed the Wol- verines to 8-0 in Big Ten play, their best start in conference action since the 1976-77 season. • Sophomore Caris LeVert notched a career-high 11 rebounds against the Boilermakers, and tied a career best with three blocked shots. • Stauskas managed a career high with three blocks against Purdue. Wal- ton tied a career best with six field goals. • Indiana's 63-52 win over the Wolverines at Assembly Hall Feb. 2 snapped Michigan's 10-game winning streak, the second-longest by U-M un- der John Beilein. Michigan began last season with 16 straight wins. • The Wolverines slipped to 56-104 in the all-time series against Indiana, in- cluding a 12-65 mark in Bloomington. • Beilein's crew matched a season low with 22 first-half points at Indiana and set a season low with 30 in the second half.
