2007 No. 4 Ryan Mallett QB Note: Transferred after his freshman year, and went on to throw for 7,493 yards and 62 touchdowns as Arkansas' starting quarterback from 2009-10. 2001 No. 6 Ernest Shazor SS Note: A 2004 All-American, he was a two-year starter, accumulating 18 tackles for loss among 141 total stops with four interceptions in 2003-04. 2003 No. 6 Prescott Burgess SS Note: Moved to linebacker and started on the weakside from 2005-06, tallying 129 tackles, 10 stops for loss, eight passes broken up and three interceptions. 1998 No. 7 David Terrell WR Note: One of two Wolverines with a pair of 1,000-yard seasons, he ranks eighth in school history in career receptions (152), fifth in receiving yards (2,317) and fifth in touchdown catches (23). 2013 No. 8 Derrick Green RB Note: Vying to become Michigan's No. 1 ball carrier in 2014 after ranking third in 2013 with 270 yards and two scores on 83 carries (3.3-yard average). 1998 No. 9 Justin Fargas RB Note: Rushed for 362 yards in two seasons (sandwiched around a devastating leg injury) at U-M, and then 715 yards and seven touchdowns for USC in 2002. 1997 No. 10 James Whitley CB Note: Started 33 games at cornerback from 1998-2000, and ranks fifth all time with 28 career passes broken up, while adding six interceptions. 1997 No. 13 Anthony Thomas RB Note: Held the Michigan rushing record from 2000-06 after totaling 4,472 yards and a still-standing record 55 touchdowns on 924 carries (4.8 yards per rush). 1998 No. 13 Marquise Walker WR Note: Ranks second in both the single-season (86 in 2001) and career Michigan annals (176 from 1998-2001) for receptions. 2004 No. 13 Chad Henne QB Note: Only the third QB to start four seasons (Rick Leach and Elvis Grbac were the others), he set program records for attempts (1,387), completions (828), yards (9,715) and touchdowns (87). 2003 No. 14 LaMarr Woodley LB Note: Was a first-team All-American in 2006, and won the Hendricks and Lombardi Awards after tying a U-M single-season record with 12 sacks. 2012 No. 14 Ondre Pipkins DT Note: Enters his junior season in good position to start at defensive tackle even
