His ability to get out of breaks, his quickness off the ball … he is very talented and he can pick the ball out of the air. He's a bigger target. That's always good for quarterbacks. With his bigger size, he also has the athleticism to get in and out of breaks." Tom Lemming of Prep Football Report: "He's from a unique high school — they used to be out in Delaware, but are in Maryland now. They recruit nothing but athletes. It's good that Michigan gets a ballplayer from there because they have more to come. He runs a 4.4 in the 40 [yard dash] and could play both sides of the ball." Why Canteen Chose Michigan: "It was everything it brings after football. Michigan offers a football powerhouse as well as great academics, a great alumni base … I had everything to gain by coming here." Head Coach's Comments: "He was a hard working kid, a lunch-pail type," East- ern Christian Academy head coach Dwayne Thomas said. "He was a hard worker in school and on the field, dedicated, always kept his nose clean. If there's a route runner in the country that's better than him, please present him to me."
