Venue Highlights GOVERNMENT'S GAMBLE: THE FUTURE OF TRANSPORTATION Saturday, March 8: 3:30pm | Texas Ballroom 5–7 It's no secret that the transportation industry is changing in big cities. The days of simply hailing a cab are limited, with applications such as Uber, Sidecar and Getaround entering the marketplace — and giving traditional transportation a run for its money. And is our usage, our views and feedback that are shaping the future of this product? Two Glass Explorers, mobile/social marketer Serena Ehrlich and InvisiblePeople.tv Founder Mark Horvath will help facilitate this conversation. DRIVERLESS CARS—IMPLICATIONS FOR TRAVEL BEHAVIOR Monday, March 10: 3:30pm | Texas Ballroom 1–4 Rapidly evolving vehicular technologies, including the advent of autonomous vehicles, may forever reshape travel behavior. Several states have already passed legislation allowing these vehicles to travel on public roadways, and there is considerable debate regarding the various ways in which such vehicles could transform our lifestyles.
