4 Jim Cline I think that LED lighting technology is going to be the standard in the future, and I am currently specifying LED lights in new construction, but cautiously. The LED industry is still experimenting with the technology to replace the traditional high bay indoor sports facility lighting. The indoor sports operator has to be careful because those old metal halide bulbs were usually 1000 watts, which is a lot of light to replace.
