Dorothy was the wife of Fred "Ted" Dyl, whom she mar- ried on May 31, 1986. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Caroline (Kukla) Kogut. For most of her life, Dorothy was a homemaker; she also worked as a crossing guard and for the lunch program in the Bellingham School System. She was a member of the Golden Hearts and Assumption Parish Ladies Guild. Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, Joseph R. Gelineau and his wife Elaine of East Greenwich, and Gary Gelineau of Bellingham, Mass.; two daughters, Nancy J. Williams and her husband Steve of Harrisville, and Jean Gelineau of Bellingham; a step- son, Christopher Dyl and his wife Rose of Coventry; four stepdaughters, Carole Wright of New Hampshire, Nancy Delaney and her husband Mark of North Kingstown, Leslie Gourd and her husband Ken of West Warwick, and Andrea Laurence and her husband Stephen of Arizona; two broth- ers, Robert Kogut of Las Vegas and Bernard Kogut of North Providence; two grandchildren, Sarah Gelineau and Ryan Gelineau; and several step grandchildren and great-grand- children. (Bici) Talabac, 99, of Poplar Street, formerly of Prospect Street, died Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, in the Woonsocket Health and Rehabilitation Center with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Vanghel Talabac. Born in Korce, Albania, she was a daughter of the late Ilia and Hrisula (Rigea) Bici. Mrs. Talabac worked as a wool sorter for the former Machtaz Mills in Millville, Mass., for several years. She was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of St. John's Romanian Orthodox Church. She is survived by one son, Christy and his wife Betty Talabac of Woonsocket; one daughter, Catherine and her husband James Jiambazi of Bridgeport Conn.; one broth- er, George Bici of New York; five grandchildren, Nicholas, Ted, Christopher, Kevin and Melissa; and six great-grand- children, Matthew, Jaden, Sydney, Matthew, Kyle and Tyler. She was also the mother of the late Jennie Gray and the sister of the late Modi and Katherine Bici. Her funeral was held on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014, at 10 a.m. in the S.DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Road, Woonsocket, with a Service at 11 a.m. in St. John Romanian Orthodox Church, Elbow Street, Woonsocket, R.I. Beatriz E. (Llamas) Grabowski, 47, of John Mowry Road in Smithfield, passed away Friday, Feb. 14, in Miriam Hospital, Providence. She is survived by her husband, Mark Grabowski, and her daughters, Emily Archambault and Alyssa Grabowski, both of Smithfield. Born in Cartagena, Colombia, Bea was the daugh- ter of Carlos Llamas of North Smithfield and Yvonne (Daza) Llamas of Millville, Mass. A graduate of Bryant University, Bea had lived in Smithfield for the past 11 years and was employed by the Woonsocket Housing Authority for the past six years. She had a kind spirit, an unforgettable laugh and an effervescent smile. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Banspach. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late William and Dora (LeClair) Hetherman. She was a long- time Smithfield resident and a member of St. Philip Church. She was a secretary until her retirement. She is survived by her children, Mark Banspach of Smithfield, Mary Beth DesGranges of Clearwater, Fla., Barbara Godbout of North Smithfield, Dorothy Walker of Aspen, Colo., and Helen Ferguson of Greenville; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and her sister-in-law, Catherine Hetherman. She was the sister of the late Mary Terreault, Gertrude Carello and Henry Hetherman. The funeral was held Jan. 21 from the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville, R.I., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m., in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville, R.I. Follett, 86, of Follett Street, North Smithfield, died Saturday Feb. 22, 2014, in the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the husband of Lillian (Kollett) Follett, whom he married July 10, 1954. Born in Woodland, Calif., he was the son of the late Leslie and Laura (Smith) Follett. Mr. Follett worked as a conservationist for the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management for more than 30 years, retiring in 1986. He also worked many years for Ye Olde English Fish & Chips, Woonsocket. Douglas served many years as a Scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts, was a huge natural- ist, giving regularly to the R.I. Blood Center. He also enjoyed camping and traveling. Besides his wife, he is sur- vived by two sons, David Follett and his wife Susan of Cumberland, and Bruce Follett and his wife Paula of Johnston; two daughters, Diane Lockwood and her husband John, and Christine Mercadante and her husband Robert, both of Millville, Mass.; a sister, Muriel Stockdale of Webster, Mass.; and eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Marilyn Follett and Priscilla Kowalczyk. Visitation was held Feb. 26, in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. Burial was private.
