FLOORED (ELECTRONIC) Tuesdays at 12 & 6 CST Floored is SXSWfm's new electronica radio program showcasing both estab- lished and emerging talent from veteran SXSW attendees and fresh invites for 2014. With sounds from the deeper side of house and techno, to left-field pop and future club anthems, Floored host Jes Elliott covers 'nuff ground from the past, present, and future. THA FIXX RADIO (HIP HOP) Wednesdays at 12 & 6 CST Tha Fixx Radio is SXSWfm's weekly hip-hop show airing every Wednesday and is hosted by B. Hobbs. Tha Fixx Radio features the hottest new music from SXSW hip-hop performers past and present. B. Hobbs will be premiering exclusive tracks and sitting down for interviews with some of today's biggest hip-hop stars. CHRONOLOG (AUSTIN MUSIC) Thursdays at 12 & 6 CST Chronolog is SXSWfm's Austin-centric radio show, a weekly one-hour sampling of some of the finest music to come out of central Texas, as hosted by the Austin Chronicle's Chase Hoffberger and Kevin Curtin. Chronolog will exhibit under no uncertain terms why Austin, the home of South by South- west, is the true Live Music Capital of the World. THE BACKBEAT (INDIE ROCK) Fridays at 12 & 6 CST In music, a backbeat is a syncopated accentuation on the "off" beat and can be heard in much of today's music played on the snare drum. The Backbeat, hosted by Jessica Pickett, is SXSWfm's rock specialty show that will air every Tuesday throughout the day. The show specializes in genres including psyche- delic, alternative, punk, garage, indie, and electronic rock. TODD V.
