Boilers Fall Short In Upset Bid

One of the plays that drew the ire of Painter
and the Mackey Arena faithful was when
Ronnie Johnson was called for a push on this
collision with Nik Stauskas with just under two
minutes left in regulation. The foul allowed
Stauskas to tie the game, instead of giving
the Boilermakers possession with a two-point
lead.
An over-the-top inbound pass allowed Glenn
Robinson III to make the game-winning basket
as time expired in overtime. With his father
watching, Robinson led the Wolverines in scor-
ing with 17 points and helped them claim their
first Big Ten regular-season title in 28 years.

Matt Painter lamented
the fact the Boilermakers
couldn't make enough plays
to hold off Michigan, but he
also wasn't pleased that the
officials didn't help his cause
in a couple of key situations.
Rapheal Davis has had a
late-season resurgence as
he picked up his first career
double-double with 10 points
and 10 rebounds.
