  FOOTBALL RECRUITING BY TIM SULLIVAN O n Dec. 16, 2013, Michigan's 2015 recruiting class looked like it was bound to be one of the nation's best. In addition to two-star Massil- lon (Ohio) Washington kicker An- drew David and three-star offensive lineman Jon Runyan Jr. from St. Jo- seph's in Philadelphia, head coach Brady Hoke had reeled in pledges from two four-star defensive backs, Ohioans Shaun Crawford and Tyree Kinnel, but more importantly two five-star prospects. Tarpon Springs (Fla.) East Lake wide receiver George Campbell and Berea (Ky.) Madison Southern running back Damien Har- ris would add some serious offensive firepower to the Wolverines' roster, complementing the strong defensive groups brought in over the three pre- vious classes at Michigan. Fast forward just a couple months, however, and both headliners were no longer a part of U-M's 2015 class. Campbell was the first to pull the plug on the Wolverines. The 6-3, 185-pounder, ranked the No. 16 player in the nation in the class of 2105 by Rivals.com, decommitted Dec. 17.
