10 • RV PRo • April 2014 rv-pro.com T he month of April means different things to different people: April showers, the observance of Easter for the faithful, the first full month of spring, and possibly "the cruelest month" if you're a fan of the poetry of T.S. Eliot. But for RV PRO, the April issue is all about our BIG, annual hitches and towing issue, and so we made sure this month's magazine is jam- packed with related, meaningful content that's designed to inform and educate. First up, be sure to read the article, "Steady As She Tows," to find out how today's fifth wheel hitches are designed and engi- neered to be more durable and to offer a better towing experience than similar hitches from just a few years ago. at story begins on page 26. Next up, check out the BIG, Annual Hitch & Towing Product Showcase dedicated to everything towing related, including braking systems, tow bars, rearview camera systems, tire pressure monitors and much more. e extensive product section begins on page 36. Additionally, be sure to read this month's company profile on PopUp Towing, which offers a variety of hitches, adapters and couplers to keep customers' fifth wheels and pickups connected. at article begins on page 50. Finally, you'll want to read this month's dealer profile on McGeorge's Rolling Hills RV in Ashland, Va. e dealership has become a towing products powerhouse thanks to its large selection of products and its continual focus on tech training. e feature profile begins on page 56. Breaking News Now As you might imagine, as the editor of RV PRO I take a great deal of pride in the editorial content that goes into each month's issue of the magazine. Still, I'll be the first to admit that if you are only relying on the magazine for all of your industry news you are missing out. at's because so much news happens between issues of the monthly magazine – which is why we have our five-day-a-week eNewsletter and website where we can break news as it happens. Notably, RV PRO Associate Editor Travis Pryor spends several hours each day to make sure we have the latest, most accurate information available to our readers. For example, in the month of March alone, we updated readers on several breaking stories, including Grand Design's significant expansion plans, the filing of fraud charges against a hedge fund for its bogus attempted takeover of Winnebago Indus- tries, recent company acquisitions by Lippert Components, an update on embezzle- ment charges against the former president of BR Wholesale, and the setting of a date for this year's Open House Week in Elkhart, Ind. If you haven't recently visited RV PRO's website, at www.rv-pro.com, let me encourage you to do so now. I think you will be impressed with both the volume and the quality of the news content we generate each and every business day. As always, thanks for reading.
