According to Muise, McGeorge's suc- cess in selling and installing towing prod- ucts – as well as its position atop the RV industry in Virginia, generally – is anchored in a near ideal location from which to do business. McGeorge's currently occupies two buildings on about 30 acres just off of the bustling Interstate 95, which acts as a major north-south thoroughfare along the dense and active eastern seaboard. "It's hard to overstate the importance of our location," says Muise. "We have great visibility off of 95 which puts us right in the path of all the snowbirds travelling between the Northeast and Florida." It also doesn't hurt that the company's exit is home to a great mix of comple- mentary attractions, including a massive Bass Pro Shop. Additionally, it will soon be home to one of the region's largest Harley-Davidson dealerships. ose and other destination retail outlets do a great job of luring in passing customers. e location is so close to ideal, in fact, that McGeorge's is planning a brand new, state-of-the-art building on the campus to house all operations. When the new space is complete, the dealership will have a total of 48 service bays in its new and existing buildings. "With the increase in volume we were running out of space pretty quickly. When we decided to build a new facility, we briefly considered moving but in the end we chose to stay because this is really a perfect location," says Muise. "We will keep the existing buildings for a currently undefined future use." Muise stands next to a display for Reese Pro Series fifth wheel hitches. McGeorge's is a top retailer of towing products for all of the major brands, including B&W, Blue Ox, PullRite, and Reese. Muise demonstrates the features on a Husky weight-distributing hitch.
