18 n Performance & Hotrod Business n May 2014 Coyote Supercharger System Vortech Superchargers, Oxnard, Calif., part of the AirPower Group, offers its V-3 Si Supercharger System for 2014 Ford Coyote 5.0-liter applications. The systems increase the output of 2011-'14 5.0-liter engines to 605 CARB-legal horsepower at 8 psi on 91-octane gas. They are available in several finishes, and in complete or "Tuner Kit" formats. Optional accessories include: competition air inlet, Maxflow FPB fuel pump voltage booster, Maxflow race BOV, and compressor and drive upgrades. EFR Turbochargers BorgWarner, Auburn Hills, Mich., presents its EFR (Engineered for Racing) line of turbochargers with features including Gamma Ti turbine wheels, dual ceramic ball bearing cartridges and investment-cast stainless steel turbine housings. The turbos offer durability, responsiveness and installer/user satisfaction, and are available from Motovicity Distribution and other outlets. Blower & Compressors Coatings Line2Line Coatings, Clarkston, Mich., introduces its Abradable Powder Coatings. In blowers and compressors, one key to boosting efficiency is to minimize the gaps without adding friction. Designers are forced to leave gaps to allow for operational distortions. Abradable Powder Coatings are self- clearancing and safely reduce gaps to the operational minimum. Builders can assemble units too tight and the coating will wear in to find the tightest low- friction fit between the mating parts. APC coated rotors have been shown to provide better airflow and longer tip life. Street Nitrous Nitrous Express, Wichita Falls, Texas, introduces its NX 8-Cylinder Easy Street Direct Port Nitrous Systems, designed to combine direct-port performance and appealing looks in a compact package that can be custom-fitted in the field. Exclusive MOTO 4 solenoid modules incorporate nitrous/fuel solenoids and the distribution manifolds into a single, compact and attractive module. Flexible poly lines allow for custom lengths, and the system includes: eight Piranha nozzles, two MOTO 4 solenoid modules, poly push-lock soft lines, push- lock fittings and jetting. Power Stroke Turbo Hypermax Engineering, Gilberts, Ill., presents a Turbocharger for 1994- 2003 Ford Power Stroke trucks. A 25- to 40-percent increase in airflow makes the package particularly suited for 300- to 400-plus hp applications. Exhaust temperatures and backpressure are reduced, and fuel mileage is improved when compared to the factory turbocharger system. C7 Corvette Supercharger ProCharger, Lenexa, Kan., an Accessible Technologies Inc. brand, presents an Intercooled Supercharger System for MY 2014 C7 Stingray Corvettes. The highly efficient air-to-air P-1SC-1 intercooled supercharger features an original billet aluminum bracket design and dedicated belt-drive system unique to the C7 Stingray platform, and is supplied with proven tuning calibrations and a handheld programmer set for a 40-percent power gain over stock on 7 psi of boost and pump gas. Higher boost levels and horsepower gains of up to 50 percent are possible with an Intercooled Tuner Kit and custom tuning, and even higher with modified engines. PHBMAY.indd 18 4/2/14 11:10 AM
