Venesky, who's from East- ern Pennsylvania, made his sec- ond visit to West Lafayette, the first for a junior day in the win- ter, and left with Purdue leading for him at this early stage. "I feel like part of the pro- gram already," Venesky said. The projected offensive guard also has early offers from Rutgers and Colgate and inter- est from Virginia, Boston Col- lege, Michigan State and others. Worship also left West Lafay- ette calling Purdue his favorite. "I'd have to say they made a pretty big impact on me and I'd say they're No. 1 on my list right now," Worship said. "You can tell the coaches genuinely care about their players." The 6-foot-1, 245-pound back has offers from Cincinnati and Toledo and interest from several Big Ten programs, as well. McCann, from Bishop Cha- tard in Indianapolis, had al- ready visited this winter for two junior day events. "( This visit was different) because it was the one where I could spend the most qual- ity time with the coaches," Mc- Cann said. McCann also has offers from Iowa, Indiana, Minnesota, Kentucky and others. Purdue also hosted Geor- gia linebacker Dareus Brown, who holds an early Boilermak- er offer as well. He also lists of- fers from Georgia Tech, Michi- gan State and Illinois, among others. THOMPSON COMMITS TO OHIO STATE Boilermaker transfer target Trevor Thompson committed to Ohio State during an official visit during the weekend, opt- ing to not visit his other final- ists, Purdue and Indiana. The center from Virginia Tech had previously said to the Indianapolis Star that Purdue has "always been a dream school of mine that I've always wanted to go to."
